Thick tights: Choose tights made from soft material that won’t scratch or rub to give your baby maximum comfort.
Sweater: Use a soft, non-abrasive fabric and make sure the sweater is not too tight so as not to restrict your baby’s freedom of movement.
Thick socks: Cotton socks are best for keeping your baby warm and comfortable. Do not use socks that are too tight so as not to impair blood circulation.
Jacket: The jacket should ideally be made of 100% wool. Wool is ideal for being breathable, water-repellent, hypoallergenic and fire-retardant.
Thin gloves: Gloves keep your baby’s hands warm in cold weather. Choose gloves made from soft, breathable material and make sure they fit well to avoid slipping.
Winter hat: A winter hat made of wool or fleece will keep your baby warm in cold weather. Choose a hat made from soft material that won’t scratch or rub to ensure maximum comfort. For really cold days, scarf hats that also keep the neck area warm are recommended.
Lambskin: A footmuff protects your baby and replaces a layer of clothing for the lower body. Lambskin in particular is highly recommended as a well-insulating natural material. Lambskin is cuddly soft, breathable, hypoallergenic and robust. Its longevity also justifies the usually higher price.
